Brief description of the duties and responsibilities:

1. Technical support and repair of work, sample and standard devices for measurement of: lengths, angles, motions, distances, surface roughness, force, mass, weight, pressure, vacuum, force torque, capacity and drain of fluids, temperature, time, hardness and speed.

2. Technical support and repair of the mechanical and electro-mechanical parts of the technological equipment of laboratories for mechanical, electrical, physic-chemical, chemical and microbiological measurement and analyses.

3. Execution of projects of the National Metrology Center of Bulgaria – Sofia - Bulgaria and the Regional Center for Standardization and Metrology – Pleven, Bulgaria, on:  

• Development, construction, and implementation of standard technical devices for measurement of pressure and vacuum. Development of standardization and exploitation documentation for the devices;

• Modernization of technical devices for measurement of lengths, angles, speed, distances, pressure, and vacuum.

4. Execution of projects of Bulgarian Academy Of Sciences /BAS/  - Institute for Mechanics /Institute for Mechanics and Biomechanics/ – Sofia - Bulgaria, The National Metrological Center – Sofia - Bulgaria  and  the Regional Center for Standardization and Metrology Pleven – Pleven, Bulgaria  on:  

• Development, construction, and implementation of the National secondary standard for forming, transferring and measurement of force torque;

• Development of standardization and exploitation documentation for the standard..

The constructed devise is registered as Patent No 40 441 with priority of  27 August 1985  (See enclosed resumes of all patents).

• Development, construction and theoretical analysis of National primary standard for forming, transferring and measurement of torque of pair of forces with additional participation of the Saint-Petersburg State University of Information Technologies, Mechanics and Optics /the Institute for Precision Mechanics and Optics/ - Saint-Petersburg /Leningrad/ - Russia /USSR/.

• Development of projects for standardization documentation for the standard.

The idea project is registered as Patent No 44 333 with priority of 02 July 1987  (See enclosed resumes of all patents).

• Development, construction, and implementation of highly-precise technical devices for measurement of motion, sizes, force and mass (weight) with additional participation of the Saint-Petersburg State University of Information Technologies, Mechanics and Optics /the Institute for Precision Mechanics and Optics/ - Saint-Petersburg /Leningrad/ - Russia /USSR/.

One idea project and two constructed devices are registered as - Patent No 34 706 with priority of 24 February 1982; Patent No 34 707 with priority of 24 February 1982; Patent No 34 712 with priority of 24 February 1982  (See enclosed resumes of all patents).

• Providing of technical and metrological consultant support of companies;

• Education of specialists for technical maintenance and repair of sample and standard devices for measurement of: lengths, angels, motion, distances, surface roughness, force, mass, weight, pressure, vacuum, force torque, capacity and drain of fluids, temperature, time, hardness of surfaces and speed.

5. Participation in various projects of the National Metrological Center – Sofia, Bulgaria as well as the Regional Center for Standardization and Metrology Pleven – Pleven, Bulgaria.  for:

• Development and modernization of a standard device for measurement of consumption;

• Modernization of a standard device for measuring of speed;

• Development, construction, and implementation of a standard device for metrological check-up of mechanical second-meters;

• Development and modernization of laboratories for chemical and microbiological analyses of food, fodder and petrol products in  the Regional Center for Standardization and Metrology Pleven – Pleven, Bulgaria.

1. Construction of mechanical parts and design of precision devices for measurement of radiation as well as systems for management of technological processes in machinery building.

2. Participation in project for construction, development, design and implementation of passive and active fire-alarm systems.
